So I really like this girl and I know she likes me, but she never actually admits it. Whenever I say something dorky or humorous, she says I'm silly. Is that a complement or a nice way of saying I'm a nerd?

I would think that's a compliment. I've been called silly lots of times. But the people calling me silly are laughing while they are calling me silly. That can't be a bad thing. If she's angry or agitated while she's calling you silly then I would take that as your "silliness" being a turn off to her. Otherwise I'd take it as a compliment.

If you are concerned enough, why don't you ask her? It can't hurt.

I do the same thing sometimes. Sometimes people just run out of things to say. it happens to me all the time. or if a guy has said something incredibly stupid (not saying u did) and I don't want to be mean by telling him it was stupid, I'll tell him he is silly. BUT trust me, it is normally a good thing.

It depends on how she says it. Like if she laughs and smiles while saying you are silly, then yeah, it's a compliment. If she looks annoyed, or sighs, then it isn't a compliment. But for the most part, sounds like she likes you.

Both - she laughed so obviously she thinks you have a good personality. Just be yourself. Are you saying these things on purpose to get her to laugh? If so, don't go overboard. Let her see the real you too. Don't ask her for a while if she likes you, just assume she does. If you are wrong - she'll definetly let you know!

When I use the word silly I usually use it affectionately... like I'll tell it to a bf or i'll tell it to a guy friend, etc... it's a good thing I think. It's good you're making her laugh =)

She actually thinks you are funny (ps kiddo thats a good thing) I said that to a few funny kids and to my little brother. And to my best friend because they act funny. No biggy at all.

To me, yes it's a nice way of saying that whatever you said is sort of nerdy. But hey, at least she's being nice about it.
