Yea, I have a friend who says they don't and I've been trying to tell her they do, but she will not believe me. Haha, guess this will prove her wrong though, hehe ^^

Yes they do.. but maybe your friend is talking about the native indians that leave close to the amazon border.. I am originally from Peru (also in South America) and even though we speak spanish over there as a national language.. there are indians in the mountains that only speak quechua... it's not the norm but they are out there.

Does your friend know something about the world? Colombia is a beautifully country and they speak Spanish obviously.

Sí, señorita, español es el idioma (or is it lenguaje?) oficial de Colombia. (Ok, apparently, I don't know how to speak spanish, i tried. But yes, they most definitely do speak Spanish there.)
Random, but... Shakira was born in Colombia. Spanish is her first language.
