I think you need to speak with her. Just hanging around her sends mixed signals, she might think you're acting weird, etc. Just tell her how you feel and it's up to her to decide if she wants to take you back.

On a side note, are you sure you're ready to jump back in? You broke up for a reason so don't just think of going back because you're lonely, etc.

Move on, not back, if it's gone it's a reason it's gone. Don't waste your time, I've been there before life will pass you up sitting in the same spot waiting on the same bull. Let bye gone be bye gones.

I think hanging out with her will just make it hurt more if she doesn't let you back in.
However, if she does agree to keep hanging out with you, take it slow, but make your intentions clear. You don't want to reach the "what are we stage" where you are both confused.

you are not really going to be friends with her in that sense. you are trying to pretend to be her friend, with the motive of getting her back.

anything thats insincere will hurt yourself. if you are going to be her friend because she really is a great person as a friend, thats fine. perhaps you should do just that. be her friend, sincerely.
let the "getting her back" part be a natural flow of the situation.

HANGING OUT WITH HER TO LET HER SEE THAT YOUR BETTER? IF YOU WERE THE MAIN CAUSE OF THE BREAK-UP, YOU SHOULD SEE IF SHE'S BETTER. AFTER 7 YRS. MY MAN LEFT ME. I WAS DEVESTATED, NON-FUNCTIONAL & LOST. HE JUST DECIDED ONE DAY TO "TAKE IT ALL BACK", & US TRY AGAIN.TALK TO HER & FIND OUT HOW MUCH SHE HURT INSIDE.LISTEN TO HER VOICE WHEN YOU DO TALK. LOOK IN HER EYES.... SEE PAIN? COMPASSION? YOU TOOK THE TIME TO HEAL- SHE WAS FORCED TO DEAL! SHOW HER YOUR GENUINELY SORRY, THAT WILL START THE BONDING YOU NEED TO SURVIVE THE MISTAKES THAT WERE MADE. P.S. - I LET MY MAN COME HOME. GOOD LUCK.!!!

No, I suggest you stop being obsessive and move on with your life. She obviously has.
