Depends, but usually as long as the air is out of the bag and the fridge temp is low ours stays good for just about 3 weeks...You can also keep it in the freezer for as long as you want.

Purest would tell you not to keep bread in the Fridge.

I keep it there as I don't eat bread daily, and when I do eat it,I don't like the green fuzzy stuff on it.
I've kept it the the fridge for more than a week without a problem.
Pull out what you need, and let it get to room temperature, and you've lost just a minor step -- not very noticeable loss of freshness..
The longer you keep it there, the more likely you will lose some of than freshness - but then you've got a great toast.

It will last even longer in the freezer -- I'll occasionally buy a bag of small dinner rolls, pop the entire bag in the freezer, the pull out what I need, let it get to room temp -- tada ! a fresh dinner roll.

When I was in Europe, the bread trek used to be almost daily, wrapped in newspaper.
Old country, old school - It's the fridge for me.

Use the fridge -- give it a try, you can always revert.

The best way to keep bread fresh is to freeze it in the freezer.Once you unfreeze it,it will taste like its fresh from the oven (exept that it wont be warm). But once you unfreeze it you should not freeze it again then it wont taste good and you could probably get sick.If u put bread in the refriderator it wont stay as fresh as the bread in the freezer.I hope your bread stays fresh!Ha Ha Ha!
