Your job is to spread the good news, to sinful people, and then, let them decide. Some Atheists, have a slanted way of thinking, and will not believe you no matter what. Still, share, and let the holy spirit do the rest. Most of all, try and be a good witness, and be kind and loving like Jesus was. After some point, you have to let them be, and make their own choice.

You act as if you've got some new evidence or insight. If you do, then share it. If you don't why are you bothering to waste 5 points on such a silly question?
For you rinformation, here's why I don't believe God exists:
First, you have to define the term "God." The problem with most theists is that this term is a moving target.
In addition, because there is no evidence either for or against the existence of God, you cannot use deductive logic (a+b=c; therefore c-b=a). You can only reach a conclusion by inductive reasoning using the balance of evidence (90% of A is also B; C is B, so the chances are 90% that C is also A).
I will assert (and others may shoot this down) that the only RELEVANT definition of God states that he intervenes to circumvent natural laws.
If God circumvents natural laws, then it is impossible to understand natural laws. All scientific findings would have to include the stipulation, "it is also possible that these results are an act of God, a miracle, thereby making our research meaningless."
However, since we have been able to expand our knowledge of natural laws (evidenced by every appliance in your kitchen), the scientific method works in this discovery. And the likely conclusion is that God, at least the intervening kind, does not exist.
Additionally, if God is defined as all loving, all powerful, and all knowing, then it is impossible to explain suffering. Either God is not all loving (he acts sadistically), not all powerful (he cannot prevent suffering), or not all knowing (he created suffering by mistake because he didn't know the consequences of his actions).
If God is less than these and/or does not intervene in our existence, then he is either non-existent or irrelevant. The classic argument is that I cannot prove that a china teapot is orbiting the sun directly across from the earth's orbit. But while I cannot prove this is not true, the evidence against it is compelling.
The evidence against God is equally compelling, and while it is not possible to prove beyond any doubt, it makes more sense to live your life as if there were not God.
It is more compelling to me that humans have invented God to reflect the thoughts of the ruling powers in a particular time. Because humans are always looking for reasons, when none are found, it was the natural inclination to declare the cause to be "God" (or gods). As the faith grew, miracles and laws have been ascribed to this Divinity, and an orthodoxy grows up around it.
Now it seems unhelpful to believe in such superstition. The only matters that aid in our ongoing well being are work, location, health, sustenance, and pure, blind luck.
So that's why I don't believe God exists. But do you know what? It's okay if you do believe God exists.

I'm not an atheist; I'm not a Christian either.
I'm going to assume by your tone that you are a Christian, and are forgetting that there are other religions with a God. The word "lord" is sort of a giveaway here.
So, with that said, I'll answer from my point of view, and I'd ask you how you could show that my God / Goddess (es) are false?
Another poster posed "show me some evidence". "Introduce me".
In my case, I've been "introduced" sufficient for my own purposes. My entire life has changed. I recovered from alcoholism, mental illness, and my family has been healed. My parents no longer worry that I'll be found dead somewhere. I no longer am at war with my own body. I've become trustworthy. Given all this, what could another "God" offer?
Can you convince me that there is a Lord God who loves me more than this? Please try.

It is not the job of a christian to convince anyone of truth. We are only to love each other, and preach the gospel. It is up to each person to decide whether or not they will accept that truth, and embrace the Lord. Do not push it, force it, or nag the truth to anyone. We can not handle that burden. Share your testimony, preach the word, and if it is not accepted, shake the dust from your feet and move on. :)
Luke 9:3-5 says: "When you travel, don't take a walking stick. Also, don't carry a bag, food, or money. Take for your trip only the clothes you are wearing. When you go into a house, stay there until it is time to leave. If the people in the town will not welcome you, go outside the town and shake their dust off of your feet. This will be a warning to them."

Thank you for the question. This is a complicated subject but there are many logical puzzles that you would have to overcome to convince me. If you, for example, believe in intelligent design, then who designed the designer? I know quite a bit of physics and cosmology, and the body of information that is available to you, should you choose to look at it, is very impressive. The best I can say about your god is that he has been out of a job for 14. 5 billion years. In the words of Woody Allen, "The best thing I can say about god is that I do not believe he is evil, just an underachiever.

You could if you could come up with measurable evidence that was repeatable that suggested there was a god and couldn't suggest something else.
You are not going to do it with a book written by bronze age religious zealots or by just talking and telling me how you feel about god. Nor are you going to do it by pointing out that there are gaps in our scientific understanding of the universe. It would take solid evidence. It isn't reasonable to believe in anything that there is no evidence to support.

Show me proof. And just out of curiosity...have you ever visited India, Burma, China, Thailand, Africa, etc?
If not, you haven't experienced 3-4 billion people that might have a different opinion than you. Watch the movie, Gandhi. His message was peace and love, across all religions.
I just came back from a month long visit to Asia, and I've never seen happier people (regardless of their beliefs).

Nope, and here's why:
1. As atheists, we hear this ALL THE TIME
2. Atheists have gone through every religion available and finally decided that proof is the best answer, and proof is in science
3. You only reaffirm our nonbelief when you push stupid questions like this on us
If 3 good reasons isn't enough, then we really can't help you...You'll keep thinking you can convert atheists, and continually disappoint yourself.

You could not, because you have no proof.
Nor could I convince you that there is no God, because I am not saying that there is no God. I am saying that I *do not believe* that God exists. I would not try to convince you to change your beliefs, and would expect the same respect in return.

I am agnostic, I am not atheist. I believe there is one God who created everything but, I am not sure that this God loves us or not. In any case, the universe is marvelous and fantastic with God or without Him.

Well, first you would have to define what you mean by God (notice the capital letter). Considering the number of children dying of starvation around the world, you would also have to define "us" and "love". Once you have done that you can give it a whirl.
