Do you mean Downloaded Programs?...if you then when you download a file from a site or other program then click Save not Run...save it to a folder where you can find them...after you got what you need then you can either create a data disc using Nero or some other software that lets you make a data disc...or you can drag and drop the programs to your burner drive...hope this was helpful...

You can't really. Programs get installed and during the install they make changes to your system which backing up the program will not catch.

There are programs to make images or snapshots of your entire HD which you can use to then go backwards in time or recover in case of a crash but it's pretty much a all or nothing backup.

TrueImage is one of these types of programs.
