He could never be angry at you even after you treated him not so good like cut him off IM and sent him mixed signal but he still came back and waited for me to come on line..its not because he has low self esteem or nothing to do...

I would think he is a very patient man that is either in love with you or seriously interested. I think the more important question is why did you feel it was important to break off the relationship? Do you know him in person? Or did you meet online? If it is just an online relationship, I would highly recommend thinking hard about the relationship you have with this person. Sexual perpetrators are all over the internet. He could be trying to show you a very caring side of himself so you will continue the relationship. Just think about it. :)

I would think that he had low self esteem. If some guy let me walk all over him and treat him terribly, I wouldn't be able to respect him.

Well what you did isn't exactly evil, you know. I guess he likes you and figures persistance pays so he keeps trying. Guys these days expect girls to play hard-to-get, so maybe he thinks this is just a challenge. I'd give him points for trying but if you don't like him, instead of playing games just tell him you're not interested.

As a guy, I can tell you that it means he cares more about you than he does about having his feelings hurt. Don't use that as carte blanche to run roughshod over him, but he is just saying that because he is interested in you and likes you.

Oh my god. That sounds just like something that happened to me recently. Look, there are some really strange people in the world. Really strange. Change your screen name. If you don't like him back, don't take up his time talking to him, and don't let him take up your time. Just leave him be. Let him get on with his life, and you get on with yours.
Besides, he sound like a clinger. We all like our independence, don't we?

I would think of him as a puppy, which isn't really attractive if you're a woman...maybe to a child it is......
