I think first kisses are overrated. Maybe because my first kiss was awful with an awful person.

Well I think a first kiss is quite important. How you handle it is most important, though. For example, if somehow the kiss goes bad (like you get interrupted or you bang teeth... these things happen)... if you can laugh and get over it that's what is important, right? First kisses are big because they're the first real intimate thing you do together physically, and if it goes bad then often it's a turn-off to one or even both people, so they don't want to get more involved. I recommend not kissing too fast because if it does go wrong, you have things to fall back on, like you know he's a good guy or he's funny etc, and it's just one kiss.

its not a deciding factor; just whether the first kiss is a memorable one or not.
a guy could give the girl the most romantic first kiss of her life and still turn out to be a two timing jerk a few good months down the road.
"the deciding factor in a relationship"? it is you and your partner- how you do to make it work.

First kiss is pretty important. I wouldn't say its the deciding factor or anything, but it is pretty crucial. If the first kiss really sucks then the person receiving the bad kiss might not ever want to kiss you again...

Over-rated. Base the deciding factor on lots more kisses and if the chemistry is there.

Deciding factor. If he's a sloppy kisser and I'm a non-sloppy kisser then it wont work. Unless they can change their style. Kissing is very important so without kisses why bother.

Well..my first kiss was sloppy as hell...but me and my bf just laugh about it..sometimes it can be a deciding factor...depends on the person.

overrated.... My first kiss with my first BF was weird.. No spark at all.. So i think in a kiss there should be a spark.. fireworks if u will.. that is my thinking...

i guess it really depends. all of my first kisses determined whether i would call the guy back or not. at least that counted when i was dating...
however....my last first kiss i can't remember (sorry honey). i was really drunk when i kissed my husband the first time. but all the kisses following were fantastic.....so in my drunken stupor....i must have known.
