You can leave a Christian church, but no true Christian converts to fables.

I tend to agree with the fellows saying you wern't a Christian in the first place.
After all, you seem rational.
Just research it, I don't know what your religion is, but just about anything has some sort of associated ritual or ceremony. Look into it, start on Wikipedia and work your way from there. Once you think you've found what *you* believe is the purpous of the ritual, what it symbolizes, then you can go about enacting it. Maybe create something based on that, but of your own invention. A different expression of the same symbolism.
Faith is a very personal thing, keep it that way.

Wow, man. Listen to these high and mighty pompous "christians" here. Calling you a liar, insulting you, saying you were never really a "christian." Aren't they just stellar examples of living the christian faith?
The last time I checked, Jesus preached love, not bigotry. If you think he's wrong, you need to be approaching this in a more tactful way.
This is why I dislike so-called "christians." They have no idea what they look like to other people.
You rebuke people in your own church, not people on the internet or people on the street. You discuss their beliefs, and show them yours. You don't flat out call them liars and insult their intelligence.
Note: I'm not a christian, but I was once a brain-washed stooge like these people.
A quote from socialdeevolution:

HAH! I love it.

If you're converting to Pagan, you're carrying Christian beliefs into your new religion... there is no "conversion" ceremony.
What there is though, depending on your adopted tradition, is an initiation. Some traditions allow self-initiation. Indeed, you can even create your own initiation.
You might also consider a "dedication" ceremony or ritual. A dedication is simply an acknowledgement of your new faith. An initiation is a bit more serious, and acknowledges your status as a priest or priestess. In this case, you are comitting yourself to a much more rigorous study in the future.
If you'd like a bit more information, or if you'd like to discuss more, please email me and I'll help as I can.
Blessings,

My sister converted to Pagan with some rituals she found in a Wiccan book. She just waited for a solstice and finalized herself. It's all in the mind, and you really just find a ceremony you like and feel comfortable with. My sister just bought crystals, incense, and a staff, and did her ceremony in the backyard on the winter solstice a few years ago. You might wanna skip the ones requiring you to be naked though.
I'm atheist, so my ceremony was a lot easier, lol.

Well first off let me say if you have converted to paganism, then you were never a christian to begin with. You can't leave where you never were. The Bible is clear when it says that if you are born again, you are "sealed" until the time of the end. Jesus said no one or thing can take you out of His hands. If you have converted to paganism, then I have serious doubts you were ever a real born again believer with the Spirit of the living God endwelling you.
Something else....if you have read history, you can see what happened to those that worshipped false Egyptian gods. They died out. Not a good testimony for a particular belief system.

Throw a party. There is no formal home ceremony that I have ever heard of to celebrate converting to any religion, so so whatever you like, and a party sounds like a fun way to go.

Sure, witchvox.com has bunches of info on this for free. Or you can do the dorm room stand by of inviting a bunch of friends over to get drunk. I'm not into this way, I'd recommend finding a nice ritual. I took a nice hot bubble bath with candles and incense. Gosh, can it be... No that wasn't over ten years ago already. Hum... well it is said that time goes faster when you're having fun!

If you are asking for rituals, the best ones are the ones you create. However one of my favorites involves burning pieces of paper with regrets on them. You might find a ritual where you write down all the elements of Christianity that turned you off on paper and then burned them to be very freeing. I think you need something that will symbolize a fresh start, so think of things you could do.

rant part:
theres nothing like christian zealots that make you want to reach through your comp and slap em. all the "my god is better than yours stuff" i guess they never won the "my dad is better than yours" competitons and wanted something to fill in. sorry had to rant.
as to the meat of my answer:
if you want to finalize your conversion look into the different rituals of that religion. modern day pagan religions allow for a lot of creativity in rituals. just think for a while and piece together something that feels right to you. changing religion is a very personal thing so make sure the ritual feels personal to you and not just some motions to move through.

Considering that like an hour ago you said you were "thinking about converting" and now you say you "just converted", you'll pardon me for saying...
SLOW DOWN.
Take time and study and find out what it is you believe before doing any sort of devotional or dedication to a new path.
And for Gods' sakes, you don't do it "for fun". You're dedicating yourself to the Gods, not just screwing around.
