Since everyone outside of your chosen religion is of course going to Hell, for the unforgivable sin of choosing the wrong religion, will Hell have a capacity limit. That is a lot of people.

Look to the Bible to find out exactly what 'hell' is.
The teaching that it is a permanent place of eternal punishment is simply false. It is not supported by the Bible.
The Greek language word for 'Hell' is 'Hades''
and Revelation says at (Revelation 20:14) And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.
Death implies, even states, destruction and finality.
So Hades/Hell will be destroyed. so it cannot be a permanent situation.
And because it is closely linked with death, it must be man's common grave.

So to answer your question. the grave has no limit.
When Armageddon occurs, those truly obeying God will be safe. Those not will be destroyed. The bible does not say how. but the numbers will be so great that the bodies will not be able to be buried and the birds will feast on the carcases. Revelation 19; 17,21

After Armageddon, all those who have EVER died will be resurrected back to the surface of the earth. There they will be judged on their reaction to the fact that god has installed a new system, with no earthly governments but only the Kingdom of God, ruled by Jesus.
they will not be judged on any previous misdeeds because their death 'paid' for their wrongdoings/sins.
(Ezekiel 18:4) Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.

Death is the cost of sinning. further punishment is not mentioned.

I guess it depends; maybe each religion has its own hell with a capacity limit, but put together, they are nearly limitless.

Great question; friggin' hilarious! "Since everyone outside of your chosen religion is of course going to hell, for the unforgivable sin of choosing the wrong religion" AHAHAHA! I LOVE IT!

Althogh you probably asked this sarcasticly that might not be a joke. If hell is a place, it has dimensions if it has dimensions then there IS a limited ammount of space, however one can assume that since the smartest and most powerful being in existence (God) made this place probabilities are that though there is a space limit it is just large enough for all the lost souls that will ever end up there to fit quite nicely. So your answer is YES it does have a capacity limit.

Hell is infinite. Just like Heaven and just like the Universe.

But I personally believe only "evil" people go to Hell. Like people who try to force their views down other people's throats (this includes christians, muslims AND athiests).

*MY* God is a loving, inclusive one. Not a narrow minded egotistical freak who is out for punishment.

im a chirstan and I beleave that every one besides devil worshipers pray to the same God. it doesent mater what you call him, what church rules you fallow, or what religion you were rased in. As long as you try to do the right thing and help others you are on the right track. Some religions work beter for one person then the next it doent mean ones ronge. they uswely beleave in a God like fopher and being cined. No religon is perfect because humans arent perfict. God loves and lisends to all of his children. And being the loving God that he is I don't beleave that he would let his children sufer in a eternity of fire, I don't deleave in hell or is is not as crule as peaple ,make it seam. we mighte be in hell naw or purgitory.

Say you have a fire going. You throw in a stick. It burns up...it's gone. Is there room for another stick? And another? Hell has limits only as far as death has limits. Hell is the second death the Bible speaks of for those who don't inherit eternal life.

Don't fear him who can kill the only the body , but fear him who can destroy both body and soul in hell.--- Matthew 10:28

There is a hell satellite when the max occupancy has been reached. I hear the angel Uriel is the fire marshall in charge of making that call.

be lots of folks there..You notice that it says beware of false prophets ...
Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

What was God thinking? Of course God knows how much room he will need. He has a spot set aside special for you over there in the corner.
