1) Choose an aerobic exercise you enjoy doing, such as running, walking or biking (or a combination of all three), and do it for a half an hour every day.

2) Only eat what you are hungry for when you are hungry. You should be in touch with your hunger and satiety responses, as a child naturally is, instead of following a diet.

3) Throw out your vitamin pills and aim to get all your nutrients from food. Eat what you crave, even the occasional pancake.

4) Never weigh yourself except when you go to the doctor once a year.

5) If this doesn't work, you were not meant to be thinner. Strive to accept yourself for who you are.

What always, always works for me is this, I don't eat before I go to bed and I take every opportunity on my job to take the stairs. But you can also, cut down on your intake of food and increase your level of activity. Drink 64oz. of water to flush out the toxins in your body through the digestive and genitourinary systems. Just do not starve yourself. You pay for that later.
