Henna will not give you a bad throat infection at all. Not if you bought pure body art quality henna for your hair. You must have had something else perhaps.
I really recommend you visit www.longhaircareforum.com for all your natural hair care needs. It is a great forum and also you can find on www.longhaircommunity.com an article on using natural herbs for your hair and it is very informative and GOOD !!
It seems that you might try doing some henna glosses on your hair which is deep conditioning and gives just a bit of color.
There are many other natural herbs and ways you can make your hair healthy. But go to those websites, they are the best for natural hair care !!
I hope this helps. Any more direct questions contact us at info@hennasooq.com

I have naturally wavy hair, long, and it tends to get frizzy and dry. Luckily my scalp is oily and since I stopped washing it everyday, it feels healthier. I now wash every 2 days, sometimes 3, but first I put conditioner on the ends and shampoo my scalp only. I don't comb my hair because of the puffiness, so I just use my fingers to unravel the knots. On the days I shampoo, I give it a good brush first, which brings all the good natural oil down to the ends, and I clip it up and look all sleek for awhile, while my hair is being "conditioned" by it's own natural oils. Learn to love your curls, because I myself go through quite a ritual for lovely curls. A good haircut will really enchance what you already have.

hey love... i was looking through all of the comments and i noticed someone said use pantene proV.... GET RID OF THAT...
my sister is a cosmetologist, and i'm pretty educated in the area. in 8th grade (i'm a sophmore now)... i did a test on pantene and what it does (and keep in mind i used all three shampoos... like moisturizing, and all of those) is make the hair a lot more course, causing your hair to be more frizzy, it fades any sort of color in your hair extremely fast, and it's just really very bad for hair. it lacks a lot of the nutrients neccesary for shiny, soft hair.
personally, i suggest a PROFESSIONAL shampoo. and GOOD CONDITIONER is a MUST. i would try something like Biolage.... it's professional, it's somewhat cheap, and it really works very well, and if you don't want to try that, i can also suggest another (which is MUCH better) and it's called Arbonne. It's actually a new product and what's so good about arbonne is the fact that it's all natural, made of earthly things and there is no testing on animals, there are absolutely no chemicals used in their makeup or haircare products, and honestly, and there are a LOT of nutrients and it's just really good for hair. If you search arbonne on google, you'll find all sorts of sites.... i'll help you find one if you can't find it.
Good luck hon! =]

If you have short hair, that is up to your shoulders or a little bit down then, mix 2 eggs with some lime juice and apply it to your hair. Keep it for 1 hours and wash it off. This will make your hair look shiny and bit straight. Eat lots of green vegetables, the rich vitamins and minerals will help your hair to grow strong.

I used to continuously replace shampoos and that led to my hair breaking lots, best to those pesky short hairs and lots of hairfall. Now, it hasn't long gone thoroughly, even inspite of the shown fact that it somewhat is more suitable lots. at the start, be happy. Your emotional recommendations set impacts your hair - too lots rigidity is undesirable for it. in the previous washing your hair, rubdown your scalp with hair oil e.g. dabur amla. Shampoo your hair two times a week with a young shampoo and then use a conditioner aswell, i want to advise Dove. stay away from tight hairdos and take a check out to tie your hair in a loose plait at night or once you're going out in a dusty atmosphere. do not comb your hair too lots or touch it lots. basically bypass away it on my own and consume lots of green vegetables and lots of culmination.

Use mayonnaise from what I heard the oils in it helps to tame hairs that has frizz, but I'm sure if you have curly hair it wont make it straight but it should help with the puffiness.

Apply oil to your hair(atleast twice a week) before you go to bed.
Wash it off(gently so that your hair dosen't get entangled) with shampoo the next morning.
