I hate being nauseous its the worst feeling in the world to me... honestly id rather have someone cut my leg off and deal with the pain than throw up. Im also on zoloft.. but that didnt happen to me. You must have just started it recently... this should pass. In the meantime, Emetrol is great for nausea, it always works for me (its a liquid, you can get it anywhere). Also make sure youre stomach doesnt get empty, eat saltine crackers. And sip water. Do something to get your mind off of it and it will pass. Hang in there!

Besides avoiding general things that make you feel disgusted when does morning sickness start, try these ideas:

1. Breathe, breathe in through your nose and exhale through the mouth or try to visualize something beautiful
2. Suck or chew ice flakes, or freshly cut lemon
3. If you brush your teeth causes arcades, try a mouthwash and use it frequently to keep your mouth fresh
4. Try a glass of milk or two calcium tablets to neutralize the acid that is in your stomach
5. Apply a cold cloth or ice pack to your throat
6. Add grated ginger (a natural remedy for nausea) to vegetables and other foods
7. Take a chamomile tea or ginger
8. Do not forget to drink fluids, but do not feel like eating something solid (might help if you combine liquids and solids in the same meal).
9. Apply pressure or ice to the bone at the base of your skull (in the back of your neck, immediately behind each ear)
10. Test the bracelets to relieve nausea: These bands, which are available in most pharmacies have a little button that puts pressure on a specific point and relieves nausea

The best thing I have found for nausea is ginger tea. I like it strong, made with fresh slices of ginger root boiled in water and with a little honey. If in a hurry, I use powdered, ground ginger and heat it in water, in the microwave. Ginger is a natural blood thinner so discuss this with your doctor if you are taking anything else that has blood thinning properties (like even vitamin e)... Your pharmacist is a great source of information to help you find OTC stuff for nausea. Best of luck to you.

Well, we women use Sprite or 7-up or eat crackers or bread (which allow the starch to absorb the excess stomach acid)...but being this is from a pill...talk to your doctor and make sure that it's not an adverse side affect.

They also make a product that is a liquid for nausea...but I can't remember the name of it...ask your pharmacist (and make sure you can take it with the zoloft when you ask).

I am nauseous all of the time and throw up every time I eat something. The doctor has given me a rx for promethazine. I have to take it all the time and it helps so much. It makes you a little drowsy when you first start taking it, but it has helped me so much. You have to get a prescription from your doctor for it. I have heard that ginger tea, or mint tea will help some, but if you are like me it wasnt enough to help. Hope you get to feelin better

candied ginger. Just a little relieves nausea and motion sickness. That is why ginger ale is so good for stomach problems. Also stick to a BRAT diet when you are not feeling well.

Bananas
Rice
Applesauce
Toast

Try ginger, any form eg ginger tea. If you have powdered ginger or crushed ginger, put a teaspoon in a cup, top up with hot water, add sugar to taste. Lemon too if you have it. Tastes foul, but it will eradicate the nausea.

You can actually get ginger pills from your local pharmacy (or even supermarket). They do the trick quite nicely! :)

Also, laying on your right side will help prevent urfing.
