I like mine- it's just the original grill and I like doing my hamburgers on there because it really does drain them well. I also LOVE doing chicken on it.

I would have to say it depends on what you're cooking. If you're looking at cooking cuts of beef, like a steak, I have found that the grill does not cook them very well. Searing them in a cast-iron skillet and finishing them in the oven is the closest thing to cooking on an outdoor grill.
However, since you say you're into cooking healthy, I'm assuming you're cutting out higher fat foods like red meat.
The foreman grill cooks chicken very well, and fairly quickly. You can use all kinds of marinades or seasonings, as the internal surfaces are coated with a non-stick finish. Fish also will cook very well in the grill. With all foods, you are going to have run off of excess fat from the food, which is caught in the drip pan. Choosing your portion size and type of food is the healthiest thing you can do.
The foreman grill is an easy to use, indoor utensil that will simplify cooking. Choosing the right kind of food is up to you ;)

It's a great product. Cooks fast and cleans easy just as advertised. Many of the knock-off brands do just as good a job if money is an issue. The grill itself doesn't add flavour to answer your question. You will have to add spices or artificial smoke flavoring if you want something close to that true "grilled taste" you get from cooking on charcoal.
My personal exoerience is that I have had one for years & it is great when you don't have time to wait on charcoal, & dont want the cleanup of charcoal/grill etc. or if the weather outside doesnt permit grilling. GET ONE!

Well worth buying,we use ours all the time just remember no meat with bones in,we tried to cook pork chops with bone in when we first had ours but the bones keep the plates apart,so it doesnt cook.when you have used the grill and you want to clean, turn it off then place a damp cloth between the plates, when you finish eating the grill will wipe clean.

My sister has both the small one and the indoor/outdoor BBQ grill and she uses hers a lot. She does fish on the bbq grill once every couple of weeks and chicken & burgers. I have a small one that I have only used a couple of times. It's not big enough for our family of 5, plus we always have a lot of extra people at the house.

I have just the small one and for about $15, it was worth the investment. My son makes pork chops and burgers on it. It can be used as a panini grill if I want. I have gotten my moneys worth for sure. I think if I had a larger size one, I would use it more for whole meals. I don't think they are the most fun things to clean.

If your cooking fatty food they are fine. But it tends to dry out a good lean steak. As for taste most of that goes with the fat. Great for toasting sandwiches. Any many other uses.
Does make fatty unhealthy food more healthier. (Heaps of fat comes out). But maybe you should just stick with the toasted sandwiches.

i love mine...you have to make sure that you clean it out right a way though...otherwise its kind of a pain to clean...oh and FYI if you buy the grill buy the little sponges that are made for the grill , it makes it easier when you have to clean it.
