Is there any medication on this disease? What is the cause and how to prevent it? Do you think this disease will lead to blindness because my eye was facing very dry and can't really take to strong light in the day, and hard to open my eyes. Please advise.
Thank you.

Are you sure that your spelling is correct? I am only familiar with Keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS), also called keratitis sicca, sicca syndrome, xerophthalmia, dry eye syndrome (DES), or simply dry eyes. It's an eye disease caused by decreased tear production or increased tear film evaporation commonly found in humans and some animals. Keratoconjunctivitis sicca is Latin and its literal translation is "dryness of the cornea and conjunctiva". Keratoconjunctivitis sicca is usually due to inadequate tear production. In rare cases, it may be a symptom of collagen vascular diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis. Aging is one of the most common causes of dry eyes, this is because tear production decreases with age. For mild and moderate cases, supplemental lubrication is the most important part of treatment...application of artificial tears every few hours can provide temporary relief until you can see an eye doctor. He can do tests to determine the cause and prescribe the proper treatment. Good luck to you.

Googling is a good idea, but enter your search as keratoconjunctivitis sicca. I'm surprised you haven't seen the TV ads if you're in the US.

all you have to do is google it. Read it. Give you more information than space to tell you here.
