I just emailed a guy whom I've dated 3-4 times that I found out my mother was injured in a bad accident and that Im cancelling my New Year's plans to help her.
Instead of responding with any concern, he emailed me back asking if I wanted to come over at midnight to his place for 'cuddling' & a mutual massage.

WTF ? Can someone be so callous ? He didnt call me back at all tonight but now wants what sounds like a booty call.

We havent even done more than heavy petting before this.
Should I immediately drop him ?

I am very sorry what happened your mother.. I hope she is doing OK. and you are remarkable, wonderful lady with great capacity to meet many well educated, classy, caring, sensitive, I would not take and give this man satisfaction of needs. He seems like who is inconsiderate, selfish, self centered man who does not care for you and respect for what happened you mother..I will not go out with him. He would not be able to bend over to change this manners. If he calls you back, tell him that your feeling were hurt, explain it to him and let him go... I would take your mom first, do not forget,,,she will be always there for you.. also there are many many well educated, caring, sensitive, considerate men exist.. just take a look around you will find a great guys... I hope new 07 will bring you happiness, success, and love,,, with great smile in your life..

No... don't dump him! Yes... he's being a jerk! But guys do stuff like that! He's being insensitive and only thinking of himself.

I've learned over time that guys are like big babies... alot of their antics you just have ignore... especially when you are in the "moment" of dealing with their bullsh*t which apparently you are IN right now!

Deal with him later. Take care of your mother. Then... call his butt up and tell him that he DISAPPOINTED you... and state exactly why. Oh my... whenever you use that word disappointed on a guy they get weak in the knees and they get soooo regretful. Trust me. He's just being a butt... don't dump him over something like that... unless you are just trying to find a reason to dump him. You know what your priority is... that's beng there for your mother. Concentrate on your mom and address his antics later. And don't forget to use the word "disappoint" when you talk to him. I've found that whenever you use that word their eyes turn into sad puppy dog eyes! LOL! For real!

Hope this helps!

Drop him. He sounds like a jerk. Maybe it was a misguided attempt to get your mind off of things but he sounds like an insensitive hornball... especially if he didn't wish your luck with you mom or show any concern. UGH.

Oh and the term "heavy petting" makes my skin crawl lol it shouldn't be used ever :P it makes me think of dogs lol ew.
