I've just taken a peek at the US Yahoo Answers site, and there's general celebration at the hanging of Saddam Hussein.

Clearly, for American citizens to take such pleasure from this, he must have butchered thousands of Americans, but I don't recall ever hearing about these killings.

Saddam didnt kill anyone. George Bush didnt kill anyone, but they both had people kill for them. Is this right? No.

So saddam orders people to be killed. Anyone ever ask WHY? It was because a group in Northern Iraq planned & tried to implement his assassination. In America this same type of group is called a militia (generally speaking). And if they threatened to assassinate George Bush, they too would be punished with a death sentence. So did Saddam really do something bad or is it just western medias spin on the hole situation for mindless little yahoo answerers out here celebrating?

Folks, if we went strickly by # of deaths, I think George Bush has commited far more offenses to humanity than Saddam Hussein.

Lets do the math shall we?

-Johns Hopkins estimates 942,636 people killed as a result of this war (it inlcudes all people from both sides). [as of July 2006]

-Wikipedia estimates 875,000 people killed as a result of Iran-Iraq war.

None of this accounts for things like Saddam being our ally in the 80s, or U.S. doing multiple false flag operations throughout the last 40 years on other nations. Operation Ajax, Operation Northwoods, Operation Gladio, 9/11 and 7/7 just to name a few.

Sadam hides in caves, Bush hides in bunkers, whats the difference? The difference is that history is written by the victors.

Saddam the two in surely and as a consequence of movements. George hasn't relatively popped a cap on everybody. Saddam has. Saddam instigated 3 wars. the 1st became in charge for the deaths of hundreds of thousands. i do no longer comprehend the figures on the 2d. And the final, i'm thinking approximately those CNN figures. that would quantity to approximately 3% of the comprehensive inhabitants of Iraq. And seeing how long the conflict has been happening that would propose an trouble-free of roughly 600 Iraqi human beings an afternoon getting killed. i've got on no account heard figures that top ever stated. have you ever? i think of CNN has the decimal interior the incorrect place. *LOL* yet considering the fact that 655K is plenty larger i'm useful it relatively is going to be extensively quoted (with out ever thinking the info) with the aid of everybody who thinks Bush did each and every thing incorrect whilst it comprises Iraq.

How many US citizens died in Gulf War 1 & Gulf War 2?

Anyways, if you knew the history of Saddam and his regime, you might be a bit more aware of the atrocities he perpetrated on people of the human race.

Furthermore, how many people died as a result of Saddam sponsering terrorism in places like Gaza?

most of us didn't even know who Saddam was before Bush invaded and occupied, much less did they even know where to find Iraq on a map. . Most who are clapping and celebrating are doing so because Bush convinced them that Saddam was a horrible despot. Of course Saddam didn't kill thousands of United Staters. However, under Bush,, we have killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. As a rule, United Staters care about people,. but they care most about themselves. It is just the way things are. In fact, I posed a question asking for the answerers to be honest. I asked if they really cared about the Iraqis.
99 percent of the answers were "NO"!
