what is the best clinic around for me to teach myself proficiency with windows tasks,writing, numbering documents,working with folders & files,word, excel,p-point, security,deleting unwanted files folders & programs & get up to speed with alot of basic things others take for granted?

If you are working, check your local schools. I just received a brochure for "continuing education" courses in everything you are interested in. Most courses run in the evening.
You might also want to check out www.amazon.com and start out with the "Made Easy" books, then go on to the "Dummies" series, etc. You will see a link for books. Look for "used books." I have purchased many used books here and all so far are in excellent condition.
I just got the WinXP Gigabook, a $35 book, used, for $3.50 and shipping. Great book. See if it is still available.
