There's this guy that I have been involved with for almost three years, not dating just sleeping with. Well I cut off all contact with him four months ago because I got tired of not being in a committed relationship. Anyways I called him on Christmas just to wish him a happy holiday and he sounded very upset with me and rushed me off the phone. I told him that he didnt have to call me back ever again. So today he calls just to see if I'm ok and goes into boyfriend mode. Why would he be calling me especially if he's not interested in a relationship with me and theres no way we're sleeping together, I moved to another state.

Friends with benefits rarely actually benefits anyone. Maybe since he's known you for a while actually cares about you and just wondered if you were doing ok. Just wait and see if he tries to pursue it more and you will have your answer.

He's calling you because he still likes you and he wants to know if your okay. He probably still likes you, but doesn't want you to know. I don't know. That's what I think.
