In an article published in December, Canadian and US researchers predicted that by 2040 Arctic Ocean ice will nearly disappear in the summer off the north coast of Greenland and Canada, opening a maritime corridor that would reduce shipping time between Europe and Asia. ........ this was a statement made after a large peice of ice broke from an arctic circleshelf.......always thinking capitolistically. How can people who think of the"FINANCIAL BOTTOMLINE" be trusted to look out for humanity?!

If people decide to not use this new route between Asia and Europe, the arctic ice will still disappear.

If people decide to use it and make money in the process, the arctic ice cap will still disappear.

I find it very difficult and confusing to understand what cause global warning due to the different and contradictions put out by various agencies.

It is becoming very obvious that governments don't want us to understand it as not only do they not want to fix the problem... but they continue to make it worse as big business push them to do so for capital gains.

Australia can barely sustain the 20 million people it has today as we are quickly running out of water. But our federal government keep increasing its immigration program as the big business is pushing for Australia to have a population of 50 million.

The big business is killing Australia environment for capital gains. And while they get richer... the whole population will see its quality of life diminish a bit more every year.
