I will be 15 weeks pregnant on Sunday. The first trimester I was so worried that I was at high risk for miscarriage b/c of all the stress I was dealing with. I've calmed down a little bit but I'm still concerened about a miscarriage. I just would LOVE for everything to be okay. What are the chances now? Are they smaller than before? Please explain. Thank you.

Stress does NOT cause a miscarriage. (Miscarriage can be caused by anomalies, infection, trauma, pre-term labor or any number of other events). You will never stop worrying about your baby. Not during the pregnancy, not after the birth, not after he/she turns 18. A pregnancy loss can occur at ANY TIME. The miscarriage rate is lower in the second trimester than the first, and lower yet in the third trimester. My advice is to try to focus on the POSITIVES. If you worry about every possible thing that can go wrong, you will drive yourself crazy.

Try not to worry, Im 15 weeks 2 days and I have thought about this but Ive decided to put it to the back of my mind and deal with it if it does happen. I do worry a bit more on occasions when I have round ligament pains but honestly the chance is much lower than in the first trimester. Put all worrys to the back of your mind unless you have a real reason to be concerned and enjoy your pregnancy. Congratulations! x

it is still possible now, but the chances are far less than in the first trimester.
the further along you get, the less chance there is for it

when I was at 16 weeks, I stepped on the stupid cat and slid down the steps.
my baby is due in a little more than 3 weeks

just take it easy. Im sure everything will be ok for you--
good luck!!
