I have the BEST answer! The most important thing is whether you like the name or not. I you like it it's good. It's also a good name because the "O" sound at the end of Taco is loud & can be heard a long way off when calling your dog. Such as ... HERE TacoooOOOOooo.

Taco is a fine name, I have a dog named Taco too plus, Belle and Chalupa. As long as the dog answers you and doesn't bite you afterwards then I think its fine...

Why is Taco insulting? It's a food, like naming your dog Cookie, or Cupcake, or Pizza. (Okay, the last one was named by a 6 year old)

One of my 2 chihuahuas is named Taco, and people always say it's a good name. My other is named Coco Puff, and my pit bull is named Mecca. There is a pit bull named Taco in our neighborhood also.

If you like the name it's fine. It doesn't matter what other people think, if you like it than keep it. Personally I don't care for it but it's your dog, not mine. Yes, I LOVE dogs!

I work with a girl named Darla (we just call her dirty butt) and her cat's name is Taco. I think it's a great name. Name your next dog Beano.
