Some people say I the girl I like is out of my league. Yet we are really great friends. I have asked her out and still waiting for a reply but she said I have good chances. I do not want to drag her down in her social life. Yet I really like her. I am in 8th grade and she is a ninth grade cheerleader captain. I am in the band

No one is out of your league if the person says you have a good chance. I think you should wait and see what the answer is. If its a yes than congrats. if its a no than you guys will always be friends either way is great. I don't think you will drag her down in her social life as long as your not the type that does not let your girl talk to anyone. I'm not saying that you are that type. You don't have to be around her 24/7. But just enough to tell her you really like/love her. Just wait and see the answer.

They always say opposites attract. If you are already good friends already then I don't think that you should worry about her social life. If she says yes to you and it is meant to be then she isn't worried about you bringing her down. If she don't answer you with a yes keep your head held high and just stay friends, you never know she may change her mind later down the road. Move on and be happy though.... Good Luck!

Don't worry, she isn't better than you. I hope she does go out with you. If she doesn't, look for someone that will see what a great guy you are. Don't feel bad. Any girl would be lucky to have you. Wait for that special girl that is going to be proud to be your girlfriend.

sounds like you need to stop worrying about what other people think b/c its only going to give you a negative effect. and if she would even notice the fact your in band and she's a cheerleader than she's too uptight about herself to begin with. just be yourself and you'll be fine man.

People are just jealous that you could have the girl and they can't. Don't let them bother you. Go for her and when you have her it will just make them mad. If she likes you then you must not be out of her league!

You should ask her again because some girls think they are cool.
I have a question, What school do you go? beacuse I am in 8th grade, too.

If you have such a good chance, why didn't she just say yes? Be careful. She might just be trying to let you down easy.
