No not really. I agree, he has committed unthinkable crimes but I still don't get how you can end someones life - isn't that what he was on trial for? In this day and age this doesn't make any sense. Who are we to end someones elses life?
Your comment about how "much turmoil, death and mountainous expenses for americans" shows you are purely one sided. He was committed more crimes against people in his own country and in the region. You state he has caused "mountainous expenses for americans" - Why did we invade Iraq in the first place? The job in Afganistan was not (ans is still not) complete! Has the invasion of iraq made the region and the world safer? I dont think so. The total death toll in Iraq may increase to be greater than the number of people killed by Saddam and not to mention the increased number of terrorist (what i mean by this statement is the increase of people who were moderate or extremist muslims becoming terrorists - going from having extremist views pre-invasion to having these views and prepared to do something about it like in the present day).

These are just my thoughts - beleive what you want - just look at the whole spectrum

Beheading has been considered the style of execution for kings and leaders but not criminals. Hussein wanted to be shot as a soldier, but was hung like a criminal.

I don't particularly care about how he was executed because having your life taken from you is TERRIBLE - regardless of how it's done. Sure, he may have caused a great deal of pain and suffering, but that doesn't mean that we have to stoop down to his level and become murderers. Not only was his life taken from him, his pride and dignity were as well.

A beheading? too messy and who would want to clean up the blood from that !@#$%!
I normally Don't believe in the death penalty unless in the most extreme cases (killing thousands of people). I feel what comes around goes around. Leaders and dictators who kill hundreds of thousands of people including woman and children don't value life, and don't deserve to live. We have to let these leaders know that you can't go around killing thousands of people and expect to get away with it.
