Of course she can eat, but for a few days she might want to stick to soft foods and soups. Nothing too hot though. Proper nutrition habits should be followed, so smoothies are always a good choice as well.
A few things she does not want to do is suck through a straw. After a tooth comes out, a blood clot will form to start the healing process in the socket. Anything that creates a vacuum in the mouth can cause this clot to dislodge and lead to a dry socket which is very painful. So, no straws, no smoking and so on.
I would say in about 36 hours she should be able to resume a more normal diet but may want to stay away from anything crunchy, chips and popcorn and definitely carbonated beverages and alcohol.

Ok, I went through this my entire childhood. I had all but 2 of my baby teeth yanked by the dentist (not all at the same time).
SO: Menu:
Mashed potatoes, mashed anything really..
Creamed corn, apple sauce
Ice Cream (the cold will also help the little"hole" stop seeping)
Yogurt, pudding, eggs (scrambled, fried, etc)
Popsicles, frozen juice bars
Jello, Soup, Rice.
Bread (with butter, jelly NO PEANUT BUTTER)
Just about any beverage: No alcohol, and NOTHING with a straw. The sucking with a straw can destroy the clot from the lost tooth and make her bleed again.
I'd say she could probably try very VERY small bites of plain cheese pizza that's been sitting out and has cooled off a bit, if the anaesthesia has worn off.
Things not to eat:
Very dry or sticky food, like chips or gum.
Extremely hot things, like coffee.
ANYTHING that requires lots of chewing.
Anything that contains alcohol: It's a blood thinner, she'll bleed more.
Also, don't let her "play" with the gap left by her tooth with anything, even her tongue, it will take longer to heal.
She should be back to eating normally in a few days (around 3-5, depending on how fast she heals). Be sure to see a doctor if she starts bleeding again or the seeping from her missing tooth continues for more than a few days.

She should have some chicken broth with saltines soaked in it and maybe some sherbert, the coldness will feel good, stir it up until it's easy to swallow. Also jello and warm cream soups are filling and nourishing. No straws, sip or spoon feeding is all. anything that she can get down is ok. Try clear soup first to see what she can tolerate. Good luck

she can eat anything as long as she dont chew on the wound. I have just gone through the answers and decided to alter my answer, you lot of morons, salt is good for wounds, she can eat anything she wants as long as she dont chew on the wound and as for all this stuff like mash and peas it is more likely to go in the wound and cause infection than a good steak she can chew on the other side, phew kids they are thick.

I would suggest hearty soups, since there's not much chewing involved with ice cream for desert to cool things down.
