What do you mean by "don't believe in Jesus Christ"? I believe in him the same way I believe Abraham Lincoln existed. As for worshipping him, no. I do not worship man, of any kind. As for answering questions about the Christian Faith.... it's what I study. Religions... Christianity, Paganism/Wicca... as well as being curious as to what Atheists and Agnostics think about it all. I answer questions that interest me. If I don't know or don't have an opinion (depending on the question), I don't answer.

I actually defend the Christian faith when it is attacked foolishly, so please don't insult.

I also answer posts from Christians bashing other beliefs or GLBT folk.

I spent a great number of years trying to be the best servant of Christ as I could, hoping that one day He might deliver me from what I was told was a sinfull nature.

My experience as a Christian, my extended study thereof, and my ultimate rejection of it as a path FOR ME, gives me the confidence that I actually know a bit about what I am speaking of.

Many of the posts from Christians or about Christianity, are of the sort that you have placed here. You post a question regarding Christianity, and in it attack non-Christians.

As for answering questions regarding things that I BELIEVE, EVERY TIME, WITHOUT FAIL, one such is made, Christians answer it saying that those who believe as I do are going to hell unless they turn.

So, perhaps one might also ask the same of Christians regarding Pagan posts. Maybe if Christians followed your suggestion, then atheists and Pagans might as well. Does that perhaps sound fair?

Or perhaps you consider Pagan posts to be simple fertile missionary fields, and your own sacred space not to be defiled by the likes of me?

I'm not answering Q's about the christian faith, dufus.
This Q was addressed to non believers and Satan worshipers.

This category is not called the "Christians Only" category for a reason.

I am a Secular Humanist, and there is lots of information about that here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humanism#Secular_humanism

Being a Secular Humanist does not mean that I know nothing of the Christian faith, and have nothing to contribute to questions posed by, or directed at, Christians. I answer questions that pertain to my knowledge regardless of the subject matter.

As long as Christianity, as well as several of the other "ultimate truths", have as their end and gleefully sought after goal, the END OF THE WORLD, and as long as they believe that their rights are being violated if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their god down every ones throat, you will have to put up with us being in your face. Why should we abandon a forum where we can let you know that you will not be allowed to carry out the silly "End Times" rubbish that you seem to forget would include the rest of us.

One similarly could ask you if you do believe in Christ, and aren't a Satan worshiper, then why ask questions about Satan and non-believers?

Answer that question for yourself, and you have an answer for your question as well.

Just to answer the other part of your question, I consider myself a theist. I believe in a general concept of a god-like being, but 1) am not sold that any religion's definition of Him is correct and 2) am not sold that He's completely omnipotent.

some of the Christian ideas coincide with my personal beliefs and aside from the supernatural I still glean worthwhile information sometimes from christian and other religious literature . Also I like to supply an alternative view to the antiquated ones usually expressed.
peace out

I believe in a God that's a lot bigger than the god of the bible or of any religion, and I answer lots of questions based on this. This is the Religion and Spirituality forum, not the Christianity forum. That means that we can discuss any kind of religion and spirituality here, not just Christianity.

Isn't answering this question responding to something on which we believe? You are aware that this question appears under Society and Culture, right?

I don't think in terms of "believing in" things. Not believing in God does not leave me with a feeling of emptyness at all. I deal with reality.

There is no crime in what religion to believe. The christian faith has been opressed since it's beginning and now it seeks to opress other faiths today, for shame.
