It is a tough one, what I recommend is do not push that question any further. If you make an issue and a big deal of it, you more likely to push her away. I personally have been in a number of these situations when girls keep saying that they do not want a long term thing, but always managed to turn things around.

There are many reasons as to why she could be saying this. She could be insecure or uncertain about future; she might been hurt in a past and now afraid of commitment; there is simply not enough emotional or things in common between you and her and so on.

If you want to keep her around you need to stop or at least pretend that you don’t really care about the long term commitments and that you are just having as much fun as you can at this very moment.

Now for the next few months, put extra care in to organising fun activities together, make sure you have a lot of deep an meaningful conversations about her and yours past, and about things that are important to you and to her. Also talk about the future, as to how you want your future girlfriend to be and what kind of house you want to live in and what exciting things that you would be doing. Make sure you don’t put her directly in to the picture, but rather talk about being with SOME girl, subconsciously she would relate these messages to herself.

If she brings up that she doesn’t think that things would work out between you to, don’t argue, but rather turn it in to the joke, like: “hey if things don’t work out between as, I know a great guy that I could hook you up with ;) Won’t tell you who he is, otherways it would spoil the surprise. But for now you and I are just going to have a great time, so how about rock climbing or salsa dancing this weekend?”

It would take a lot of emotional control, but if you loose that control, she would see you as a weak and needy, rather then confident man who has choice with women and a great lifestyle that she wants to be a part of.

...... when your'e young and single,...... you need to mix with many of your different opposite's to gain experience in their different behaviour's.... If you do, this will hold you in good stead, should difficultie's arise in later year's, with a b.f. husband or partner.... If you dont,... you'll have to make difficult decision's, with little prior experience!... Avoid committing to only 1 or 2 relationship's in a lifetime, and keep your option's open.... The more relationship knowledge you have before marriage,.. the better!... Your girlfriend seem's up to speed on this,... it may be wise for you to consider this as well!...

Okay, "together forever" is just something silly kids say. No one plans to be togehter forever... it just happens thru hard work, etc. Maybe she isn't as serious about the relationship as you... you both need to grow up.

dont try to think like that, otherwise your relationship will fail. just take it one day at a time. in relationships, you must realize that things grow with time, and dont expect to see instant results. there are too many people in this world, and you never know what is just around the corner. yes you might be in love, but let that grow and she just might come around. dont pressure, b/c that will drive her away. just let things take its course
