Make sure you finish high school, but college isn't as important as it used to be. You may actually be too smart to go to college.

Most colleges are way too expensive and are full of wacky professors like Ward Churchill and 100 other nuts. Like that guy who teaches his students that the military caused 9/11. What a loser.

I read that book about the "101 worst professors" and you'd die to hear the stories of how crazy they are these days and how they are constantly promoted, make outrageous money and barely show up to classes.

Most of them are violent activists who hate the country that gives them the freedom to teach their garbage.

You don't need that. If you're really smart you'll stay away from any well know colleges. Do what you like doing. Find out what you really like and get into it full blast. You don't need a college education to drown out your ability to think for yourself. They're all indoctrination clinics for making minds into mush.

College is not for everyone but don't ever think that you are not smart enough....I found that the market places looks at how much computer knowledge you have, how fast you type, and definitely if you are bilingual...Those are the major things you do need to concur...There are government help so that you can learn things, plus a big thing is the library, there are a huge collection of books on jobs and what you need to be able to pursue the job...I don't know what state you live in but look in your phone book and the your cities chamber of commerce, they will be able to point you in the right direction, just ask them where their Human Services Department is might also be called Health and Human Services...Then ask if the have a government office that helps people find jobs and also help with resumes...The best thing to do is ask as many questions as possible...If I can help in any way you can email me..

If you want to be a doctor, lawyer, or police officer, then you need a degree. If you want to be a plumber, carpenter, or some other types of vocation, you do not. College isn't so much about being smart as it is about being trainable and showing the capacity to learn skills and meet deadlines. To graduate college you show that you can complete tasks and follow guidelines. You also need a certain amount of adaptability. These are skills that a lot of jobs or employers desire. You can acquire these skills without college, but then how can you certify that you have the skills? The world is filled with successful people who never attended college but even they sent their children to college to gain an advantage that they never had.
college also give your the opportunity to see how other people live and do things. You gain experiences from other people, not just from your class instructors.

Start looking for a job that has growth potential if you don't think you're going to get into college. Becoming a manager of a store isn't a disappointing line of work.
Or you can also try the local community college and do that with work if you don't think you can get into a 4 year.

College spelling, and grammer are very important. With college you will become richer faster and more people will want to hire you for the fun jobs that pay a lot. Trust me, and in college you can have a lot of fun...trust me. It all paid off and now I am a business woman in Kentucky.

College isn't for everybody. You don't have to be smart to go to college. You can go for financial aid and then drop out like I did! Ok bad advice.
