Where could I get small fireworks (sparklers, poppers, small firecrackers) in the DC area, I don't want to go into Maryland or Virginia... Are there any small shops or anything that might have them?

You can buy some of the smaller ones at seasonal stands but those are closed this time of year--- only open for 4th of July. If you still want them then, there'll be a stand out in the parking lot of the Tenley Mini-Mart on Wisconsin Ave.

I doubt it. If I am remembering correctly from when I lived there, it is illegal in DC. And they only sell them in VA around the 4th of July. Not sure what the laws are in MD....
