I was friends with a guy who I really liked but he didn't want to get serious. He told me a week ago he had a gf and I was a little crushed. I don't know how long they've been together and I gave him a xmas gift and letter, saying I was going to break. I feel like if we ever got together seriously I would resent him, because I feel like I'm second choice.He told me he wants to break up with her for me, because he feels I would be a better girl friend. I'm not totally into that idea because he should break up with her because he doesn't want to be with her not because of whose better. We haven't had sex but I have strong feelings for him. I called him last night and he never returned the call. I'm in a slump and don't know what to do. I need some real advice because the New Year is coming in and I need to get my life together, whats your opinion?

Give both him and yourself a break. Talk to you friends (not about him). Try to enter the new year with a clean slate. By then, both of you will have gotten plenty of time to assess the situation.

I think that if a guy EVER tells a girl he's breaking up with his girl for you, that the guy is a loser. Imagine how you would feel if a guy broke up with you because he wanted to be with Martha over there. I would be devastated and I would turn him down. But you should tell him how you feel about him but don't go out because of his stupid reason that you would be better. Maybe he thinks you'll give in to him more which is his reason for "better".....

dont get involved with him honey back down cause if he breaks up with his girl for u whos to say he wont do that to u ?
also u dont want to have drama of feelin like sloppy seconds
he doesnt sound like he likes u that much if hes only thinkin of breakin if off wit her

gurl, all i could say iz dat if u call him again or talk to him and he iz still sayin things dat u dont wanna here...u should move on...i kno its goin to b very hard but u have to try cause it wouldnt b right to like somone or go wit somone dat u have doubts about...its jus not right...you'll find sonone way better than him for new years...i kno theres somone else u like right now! Thats jus wat i think...follow ur heart...Hope dat Helps!!:)
