Do whatever you can. Find an old aerobics tape in a junk store and follow that if it is too cold out. The planning is the important part, just as important as following through because if you have a plan for the nasty days you don't have that excuse not to exercise. Congratulations and I hope you stick to your resolution.

I see plenty of mothers taking a walk/run with their babies. If getting up at 5:30 doesnt sound appealing, try getting some warm clothes for the two of you and going for a walk.

If that doesnt sound doable, invest in a workout tape. You can stay at home with your kids (maybe do it while they nap?) and avoid the cold weather. I do Pilates right now, but with Taebo I remember not needing any extra equipment (plus, I had worked up a good sweat after only 20 minutes).

I hope the new year is good to you! Good luck.

I found a walking video that I love. It's a mile walk in 15 minutes. It's a pretty intense workout, but it's fairly easy moves, and the fact that it's only 15 minutes motivates me to stick it out the whole workout. Plus, since it's cold where you live, you don't even have to leave the house to do this, and it wouldn't take away from your mommy time.

You don't mention ages. Losing a good deal of weight requires a physical checkup and doctors advice first. Cutting out the junk is a good start, you will need to exercise even if you take the stairs instead of the elevator daily.

Its all about a life style change. Eat healthy but healthy food you like and enjoy. Do exersice that you enjoy and if you want to do it make time to do it. Just stick at it cause it does take time. Also set yourself goals and targets and give yourself rewards. Although it does take hard work and being mentaly strong try and enjoy it together. Good luck.

For loosing weight and eating healthy for life I highly recommend the website http://www.westonaprice.org/index.html. There is a ton of information here and many links. Also, the book "Eat Fat, Loose Fat" is excellent. Good luck and enjoy the web site, I really love it!
