Look up the number for your local Bar Association. They will have a referral service which puts you in touch with a lawyer who specializes in the area you need. Be sure to have all of the information and be frank with them as to what you want from the attorney, i.e. trying to get an insurance company to fix something properly, fighting a citation you feel is incorrect or suing for damages and personal injury. Don't be shy and don't rush through the process. Make sure you write down any question you have in advance, and take notes on what you are told. This is a stressful situation as you know so do what you have to to keep things straight. Good luck.

A personal injury lawyer is best. I know some, but you don't say where you live. Try Pillsbury & Levinson, I know they make millions of dollars.

Lawyers are licensed to practice by their state. You'll need to let us know what state you're in.
