My cat has developed a bald patch on the back of one of his legs. There are also some fairly hard, raised ball-like sections on it. He licks and bites it fairly often, and doesn't like me going near it.

The vet gave me some anti-allergy stuff to put on it. It seemed to get a little better, but now that it ran out it is getting worse again.

Anyone know what this might be?

It isn't red or anything, just looks like bumpy, raised sections on his skin.

I suppose she is most likely pulling the hair out and that is why the bald spot is there, If it is an allergy and I guess there is if the vet said so, and you want to try and altermate menthod benadryl allergy is most helpful... even for a cat or dog and would clear the problem fairly quickly.

If you have taken your cat back to the same vet, and get no new response, I would try another opinion. There are allergies in cat, but there are also skin conditions that have to be dealt with. Always get a second opinion when in doubt. For yourself, your family or you animal family!!!

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://tr.im/hqJtj
While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.

I would have the vet recheck it and get more of the stuff. It just may take a while if it is really bad

that might just be a callasus that the cat might have dragged on a few times and it gets itchy easier because it is bare with now hair on it.
