Any animal showing lethargic tendencies should be IMMEDIATELY taken to an emergency vet because the dog could have PARVO, a potentially DEADLY intestinal virus.

Any vommiting or loose bowels? Give the vet a call anyway. They always have someone on emergency on-call. It might take awhile before they are able to return the page especially if they are tied up with an immediate emergency, but they should be able to ask and answer specific questions. Believe me, I'm speaking from a lot of experience here! If they don't answer your page or treat you with respect find another vet because this one isn't caring enough. You have to advocate for your pet and child's health because they can't!
There are many things it could be too, maybe starting to enter heat early, ate something wrong. Make sure she's getting fluids so she doesn't get dehydrated! Sometimes a bite or two of people food or cat food will stimulate the appetite if it's just viral. Let us know how you make out okay?

I'm not sure if you've gone to the ER vet yet as its been a couple of days since you posted this question.
You didn't indicate any other symptoms.
I'd be interested in whether your husky is running a temperature, and if she is peeing and pooping normally.
You said she's not eating, but didn't say if she was drinking fluids.
It could be any number of things with the lethargic behavior.
Upper Respiratory infections often present with lethargic behavior, lack of appetite as well as fever and runny nose/eyes.
Check her stools and see if she's taking water.
If she's having diarrhea, then that could also be an indication of problems and causing dehydration.
Also see if she is declining to eat ALL: food or just her dog food.
Check her gums and make sure they are nice and pink
as well as try pulling back some of the skin on the back of her neck. If it does not fall back into place and remains bunched up, she could be dehydrated and in need of fluids. If she's that dehydrated, then you need to take her in and get fluids injected under her skin through an IV(SubQ Fluids).
Hope she's doing better by now :(

No, your vet is not closed until Tuesday. Those are just the normal business hours. Your vet DOES have an emergency number listed. Call the vet right now, and listen to the recorded message. The emergency number will be provided, and sometimes the numbers where you can reach vets at home.

most vets have an emergency number or just look your vets home phone up and call them. If she is lethargic and not eating she could be really sick so I would call them and see what they think. Some clinics are even open on the holidays. One clinic I worked for we were open 365 days a year, but had shortened hours (12-6pm) on holidays so see if there is something like that in your area or some places have 24 hr emergency vet clinics. Good luck but I would check with a vet. If you wait too long it could be very bad for her.

You call your vet anyway. They may be closed but if they don't have an emergency clinic in your area, your vet will have an on call number. In the odd case they don't, try another vet. We can't tell you what is going in with your dog over the internet. She needs proper veterinary care. The longer you wait the harder it will be to treat. If its something really serious she may not even make it until Tues.
Get her to a vet asap.

This is an emergency you need to find a vet immediately even if it isn't your normal vet. If you have a local Petsmart, then they probably have a Banfield. Banfield takes emergency's and the staff are awesome. To get you dog to eat try ground turkey and white rice. Its easy on the stomach and highly palatable. Hope all goes well, and Good Luck.

This might mean that she has lyme disease. I recently had a friend whos puppy went through this. She stopped eating, and was very stiff in the legs and would sleep a lot. This all happened within about 24 hours, so if this recently started, you should get her to the vet ASAP. After they give you the meds, it should clear up shortly. Good luck =]

I really don't think many vets are going to be on Yahoo Answers and I can't beleive your vet is closed for that many days.
Anyway, there could be NUMEROUS reasons why your dog is not acting herself. Upper respirtatory infection, urinary tract infection, running a fever, upset stomach, intestinal parasites, anal gland impaction. I would find an emergency vet and get her in

take her to another vet. most vets will be open tomorrow until at least noon, if not she needs to be seen by an emergency clinic. there is no way anyone will be able to tell you what to do. if your dog hasn't eaten or drank in 2 days then she needs immediate attention. you can force some pedialyte, non flavored into her for the night, until you can get her to the vet in the morning.
