crunches are helpful.... also, there is one that you can do on a workout machine if you have one....you get on your knees, pick an appropriate weight and pull the overhead ropes down so that you are sitting forward on your knees you should be holding the rope above your head and keep your arms locked at a 90 degree angle....then use your entire torso and keeping your back fairly straight, go completely to the ground. Your face should be a couple of inches away and your elbows and knees should be aligned with your forearm flat against the ground and your fists (which is still holding the rope) also touch the ground. Then come back up and do it again and again. You will know if you are doing it right because of the "burn" feeling!

Good luck and hope it makes sense!

I do bar abs - it takes a while to get used to hanging on a bar for a long time - but each workout get better. you hang on a then do leg raises - touch the bar with your feet, keeping your legs straight, first do 2 feet at a time, then do 1 leg to the opposite hand, and then try keep your legs up there and go from side to side. start with 10 reps - as many sets as you can

you can have someone stand with their feet on either side of your head while you are laying down. Then, with your back staying on the ground and your hands holding their ankles, pull your straight legs up to their chest, they push your feet back and repeat.

Another is hang from a bar as if doing a pull-up and bend your knees to a 90 degree angle and pull knees towards your chest then back down to starting position and repeat for 4 sets a day.

Another is inclined sit-ups

Another is inclined sit-ups where you go back down from the up position to down position very slowly (negatives).

And the list goes on :)

try going to the gym and getting on an inverted bench and do situps and if thats too easy do it with a weight plate...... 6 inches works the lower abs the best... do that normally, then do it on each side.... also get to a pullup bar, and hang on it and swing your feet up so your body is perpendicular....

INverted situps work the best... also do them on your obliques too
