vertical gastrectomy?

How much can a person eat after one year following a vertical gastrectomy? How much will it streach after, can the new stomach ever streach large enough to fit a hotdog or sandwich or will it remain 4oz's?

actually being a muscular organ, stomach can grow up in size again, it can stertch of course slowly and yes it will never hold as much as it did before the surgery. Hotdog and sandwich, yes by all means after one year, good luck
