I have been expieriencing back pain throughout my entire back near the bones starting from the very top of my back bone all the way down my spine to my tailbone. It hurts to move, flatten out on my bed, and the bottom above my butt where the bones are pops when I lay down flat. Why is this? Could it be my scoliosis, even though doctors say my scoliosis is fine?

i agree with seeing a good chiropractor.
as one respondant states, the stress from the scolioisis could be causing misalignment thu out your spine, causing the muscles to work harder to keep you straightened up. they will be able to xray, and do electro testing to see what and where the stress points are, and adjust your spine accordingly. i imagine your whole body is feeling badly, as your spine connects all of the nerve endings and once it is crooked, your whole self is out of whack..
good luck

I'm 33 and when i was a teen i never wanted to wear my brace, so i stopped using it, and regret it today. Although, i don't have any back problems i wish i would have worn it to keep the progression of the curvature under control. . Right now the brace is a pain, but you'll be glad years later that you used it, trust me i know what I'm talking about. I lead an active life sports, travel, and dating, yet now I'm still a little self-conscious. However in your case, it doesn't look severe at all. I hate being pushy but wear the brace, especially since you're still growing. Good Luck.

It could be any number of things. Your scoliosis might be ok, but it could be the muscles in the back that have to work harder due to the scoliosis. If you continue to have problems, go see a doctor or a chriopractor.

I hope you feel better.

Generally, there is no pain with mild scoliosis because it develops gradually. If I were you, I'd go see a chiropractor for an evaluation and adjustment. My daughter went and was very pleased with the result--no more back pain!

Have you seen a chiropractor lately? My son has scoliosis and has to see a chiro every two weeks to keep a proper alignment until his muscles tighten and start supporting him in a straight position.

scoliosis doesnt really get that severe that fast. I doubt it from the symptoms that you're describing, but I'm no doctor. Just go to the doc and tell him what you told us : D

sounds like you're not getting enough calcium. Have you seen those old people with humps on there back? They didn't get enough calcium or enough D. There supposed to check you in school for it with these metal things. You would know if you had it your spine with be uneven.

Of course your doctor will say it's fine.

I would now suggest consulting with a chiropractor.

My sister has this condition and her chirpractor helps her immensely!

you need to see a doctor instead of trying to get answers on the internet.
