My little brother broke my LCD TV just a while ago, the picture does not seem to be "very damaged", but it does have around 15 dead pixels in the area of the hit, i do not know if it will broaden or if it will stay like that forever, should i repair?, should i trash it?

Hmmmm. Two idiots seem to think that you can get it fixed if it's covered by some sort of warranty or insurance. Think again. As soon as the tech sees what has happened, you're out of luck. There isn't a warranty in the world that will cover that... even if you're God himself. Either live with it, or trash it. Don't try to be a dishonest fool and take the idiot advice given above. I used to fix TVs for a living and, believe me, we can tell abuse from normal failure.... trust me.

If it's still under warranty or if you get the extended warranty, you should be able to bring it back to get it repair.

If the warranty expired, then you'll probably need to bring it into a shop to get it repaired. It's probably going to be fairly expensive. No point in throwing it away. If the dead pixes doesn't bother you that much, then just live with it. If it's bothering you, get an estimate to see how much it's going to cost. If it's too expensive, get a new TV, and this time, get the extended warranty.

Since your little brother broke it, you should make him get it fixed.
