I have XPSP2 IE7. Everything was great after downloading and using IE7 (final) for about 3 weeks, then, when I try to add to Favorites, the bookmark does not appear on the screen in Favorites. When I try to add the same bookmark a second time, a message says that it already exists (if it does exist but is not visually present, then it is useless). I cannot find a fix for this anywhere. Can some wizard out there help me? Thanks.

The Humble One: No, it is not that.
The weird thing is; if I shut off the computer for an entire day, Favorites will work perfectly (one out of six shutdowns), for a while, and for no logical reason, it will stop working.
If I want to reload IE7, do I uninstall it first? How would I go about doing this, step-by-step? I am worried about losing it. I have a Dsl connect , so I haved SBC's browser as a standby.
eg_303: When IE7 functions properly, I actually like it (I can't believe I wrote that)!!Everyone comments that there is a problem accessing many sites with Firefox and to use Opera. Whenever I go with a different browser, there are so many conflicts that I just go back to IE. I resent the monopoly or bullying of Microsotft, but it is reality. The irony is that IE7 was supposed to be fairly intact compared to the longtime standing problems with past IE's.

Do you have so many favorites that when you click Favorites to add, you overlook a very small arrow on the bottom indicating that there are more to be seen?
