I found WW too tempting, because with the points system you are allowed to have anything as long as you stay within your points. This is too much for me and you may consider that it could be too much for you as well. The only thing that has worked for me is eliminating those kinds of foods altogether (the sweets). You can still do points without sweets.

The thing about sweets is that whenever you eat them, even in moderation, they make you crave more. It's just biology. My advice is to kick the sweets to the curb altogether. The reason why is that once you stop eating them, the cravings WILL go away. Best of luck to you!

Me too.....but here are some snacks I have that really fill my tummy:

1) Banana, 2 cups of milk & sweetener (in the blender) (6 points)
2) Bran Muffins (usually 1 point each if you use their recipe)
3) Microwave popcorn (the whole bag is about 6 points)
4) Light Jello (0 points)
5) Broth, even if you add crackers.....still really low.

Good luck - it's hard right now isn't it? The best thing that works for me is having more food in the house than usual - gives you more options/choices.

It is natural to binge sometimes. Try not to keep sweets in the house, or buy things like sugarless candies and things like that.

I saw on the news that Weight Watchers is the only program that works because it teaches you how to eat properly.

Good luck with your wieght loss....and if you get a sweet tooth pop a sugarless candie.

I know I know, believe me I understand. What has worked for me: brush your teeth everytime you want to eat something not on the plan, take a short brisk walk and tell yourself if you still want to eat after the walk - OK, usually willpower is up after exercise, call a friend instead of eating. Most important do not get down on yourself and be patient. Weight loss takes time and beating yourself for going over a few points is self-defeating. Good Luck.

Weight watchers makes some good desserts. If you always have those around you could choose the weight watchers desserts instead of the higher calorie desserts. Also, you could eat lighter meals when you know there will be desserts. Exercise give you extra points.

Wish I could help, I've struggled for years. The only way to do it is to just do it. T here is no magic power to give you willpower.

um, only you can help yourself, although you could ask your family to help support you in this and keep healthy snacks around for you...and hide the cakes...ask them for more help!
