after 9-11 i heard rumors about terrorists targeting canada. was this for real or was it just america trying to get canada freaked out enough to join their fight. any canadians here, are you worried about terrorism in canada? why would someone target us other than to get even with america?

Canadians (were) known as peace keepers. Jean Crieten, never sucked up to the American government like Stevie boy has a penchant to do. That personally sickens me! Get an ## room!

I have never felt threatened within Canada, but the possibility of being attacked by terrorists is greater now that our government has taken the peace keepers, into active combat.
I wish our government would grow up, and start paying attention to what is going on.

Canuck here. Not worried in the slightest. What does annoy me is that we are fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan, freeing up American troops to fight in Iraq, and many Americans are either unaware of our involvement or mistakenly believe that we are there only as peacekeepers. Because of our involvement in Afghanistan, we have become more of a target than we once were, although we're kicking so much Taliban butt that it's unlikely that they'll be able to do anything meaningful where Canada is concerned.

why would they attack us it would not make a big enough political statement there are reasons why terrorists attack certain places attacking Canada would be like attacking there own home there are many terrorist in Canada our government does nothing out of fear of retaliation remember we ha vent had an army since ww2 how would we defend ourselves who would help since the states and GB are already involved

The Governments are renown for making people uneasy all over the world. i don't know where they get their information from or their so called leads but it makes you question who is really the Terrorist??
