we live in a fast moving world...new things appear every 5 minutes...everything is disposable....do you always crave the next thing...be it a person...place...or material possessions....or do you look around you at the things you may have and take for granted....???...

Very good question .... thinly disguised as fluff ... although not well disguised enough to get too many answers ... grrrrr

I try not to take anything for granted ... and I am controlling my cravings quite well at the moment ... when I have them.

I don't really do disposable ... I'm not that easily influenced.

I have learned throughout the years to be happy with what we have and not to cry about what we don't or can't have. It makes things much easier to take that way. And we thank God for all the things in life that are usually taken for granted.

Another good point from you. We don't spend enough time appreciating what we have. And, when we feel down, we should consider those less fortunate than ourselves. That puts everything back into perspective. It does for me anyway!

Spend too much time thinking of what I havnt got and what i havn't done and why everything is sh*t, rather than appreciating! Will change that for 2007.

I appreciate the things I have, but I will always long for the love of my own child.

You can only reflect on what you have by taking a pause. Unfortuantely modern life doesn't let you pause very often.
