A year maybe, but 60 pounds in 6 months is really a lot to expect. Shoot for 1-2 pounds a week, and be real happy with any weight loss.

You also have to eat healthy. Exercise alone will not do it.

If you lose to fast, it is not healty.

Yes it is possible however losing 1 to 2 lbs per week is the safest and most likely to remain permanent. You may have put on muscle which weighs more than fat thus the scales won't be much lighter right now. You should not over exercise either your body needs 48 hours between workouts to break down and repair used muscle thus building new muscle which will increase strength. Muscle burns more calories than fat.
Keep up the hard work and eat sensibly

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Technically... yes most likely. Depending on your weight, body composition, body fat percentage... among other factors, it is very possible for someone to loose that amount of weight in 6 months.

Unless you are severely overweight it is not only unhealthy, but also extremely difficult to do so it that amount of time. Focus on complete nutrition and building healthy effective habits that will continue past your immediate goal of 60 lbs.
