VERY affluent.

The "poor" part of Greenwich is at the main part of the village on East Putnam Avenue (Route 1). However along the coast and up along the area by the Merritt Parkway, you have the most affluent homes and mansions

Affluent meaning economic wealth ranks them in the top ten in North America. The citizens prefer not to be thought of in that way, and will plead poverty if you listen long enough. Ya they are very affluent there.

Quite so, it's very affluent. A lot of wealthy families live there and commute into Manhattan (it's about 1hr drive).
