im suppose to write why i think some quotes from john lennon are important, and it has to be a paragraph but i dont know what to say, this is what i have so far...I thought these few uotes from many others were important to know. These quotes showed me how much Lennon cared about things. Most of his quotes revolved around love, life, and peace, the most important things in his life.......the quotes were at random and i have no idea what eles to say so if someone could helppp

You might want to approach the subject from the perspective of the people who listen/listened to his music. Why was a simple musician so revered? What was it about his statements, his songs, his "quotes" that resonated with the people of the time? His quotes that revolve around love, life, and peace were stated at what period in the history of the US and England? What was going on at that time? What was important to the people? What age group did he appeal to? Why are his quotes relevant today as well??

Being a huge Lennon fan, I googled Lennon Quotes and found this site. It's got all of his most famous quotes, that I know of anyway. I would say that his quotes are important because they made you think about the world, about peace, and how YOU could change the world. I think that was the most important thing about Lennon's music; It made you think. It also made you realize that celebrities were people too, with emotions, families, friends, etc. I don't think his quotes were random, necessarily, but they weren't thought out either. I mean, I think he just said what he believed.
If, though, you don't think that they are important, well, then they're not important to you. I'd say if you're able to, then say that (If that's how you feel). John was a guy who knew that whatever he said was going to be recorded somewhere anyway, so he might as well say something that was worthwhile. He knew what he wanted, and worked to get it.
If you still don't get what I'm trying to say, listen to "Imagine". It'll pretty much get the idea across. People listened to the song, they internalized it, they realized his vision.
That's what I think, anyway.

it duznt matter who u r..but the qoutes appeal 2 u..simple things about life..one sentence can change the way u approach life and its problems...no matter how large a problem it can be solved..he believd a song cud help usher in peace...the quotes arent random..he says that united we stand...every1 has heard that b4 but the way he puts it is so eloquent..bcoz he is a singern sumbody the youth used to look up2 his words had unparalleld power to influence...he tells u how 2 make most out of ur life and help others in doing the same
