If the kitten is truly dehydrated, he/she needs sub-Q fluids. If you pick up the kittens fur on the back of his neck and it's not loose and isn't able to be picked up by that skin, the kitten is very dehydrated. A Vet can hydrate or you could if you had some saline solution and a line with a needle. If you cannot afford a vet, you might want to call a cat rescue group in your area as they are usually familiar with a cat needing fluids. Cats in kidney failure are hydrated regularly, so it's pretty common. Good luck!

Take it to the vets immediately! Kittens have such a small amount of blood and fluids in their little bodies to begin with, that you can't afford to waste time when they're dehydrated. It can be very dangerous with such a small animal. I don't know if Pedialyte is really a good idea for animals, it's made for humans. Good luck!

do not give it pedialyte it contains a salt which could help wih the dehyration if its in really bad shape you should consider the glucose levels and try a little sugar and water to keep it so it will have the energy to eat, then you need to take it to a vet so they can give it water and put it on a diet of ad so it will get more vit. then regular kitten food good luck unless it is either too week or to young you can try feeding wet food but unless it has to be fed formula i would avoid it because it also can cause the runs and excessive gas.

Well you could wait to see if it gets better...or take it to the vet to make sure it is really dehidrated and not seriously sick. I would check and see if it will eat anything. A good appetite is always a good sign, it would also be a good way to sneak more liquids in, canned cat food, or kiiten food in warm milk. Just not too much milk, or it will get diahreah(sorry dont usualy have to spell that word:D) If you wait I would only give it till tomorow, it could be really sick and need a doctor. And be careful of too much pedialite. I would go with watter or milk before pedialite.

Call your vet and see if you can buy a bag of fluids. All you have to do is put a needle just under the skin and put bubbles of it in her system periodically. The vet should have recommendations. You should really take her to a vet to make sure she doesn't have any other problems. How old is she?
