The Russian Antonov An-225 for now is the world's biggest aircraft

The largest commercial plane currently in service is the Boeing 747-400...But the A380, the largest passenger plane, will enter service with Singapore Airlines next year. This should not be confused with the Antonov 225, which is the largest aircraft ever made.

Boeing is currently developing the 747-8 which would replace the 747-400. Although it would still be smaller than the A380, its features will prove it to be the A380's direct competitor.

The Boeing 747 is currently the largest flying commerical aircraft.
The Airbus A380 will come in service next year. It is the largest commerical aircraft.
The Antonov An225 aircraft is the largest aircraft, but no commerical service.

Hope this helps!

Right now, it's Boeing 747, but later, it would be the Airbus A380
