They only thought they left.That's what beliefs do to a person, puts them in some kind of dream land.Now heaven is always near but not quite yet,of course in the dream land they need to be tested. All that needs to be done is to wake up.

Christians have not left heaven. Only the fallen angels have left heaven. Jesus came down here so that we could all go to heaven. But people chose to follow who they will.

According to the Word, we have not beent here yet; however, if we are born again we will be there someday. The only beings to have ever left heaven, according to scripture, is Christ himself and a third of the angels with Lucifer.

We came to earth to get a body and gain mortal experiences so that we can eventually return to live with our Father in Heaven and become like He is. That's the ultimate goal for me. We had to come to be tested and prove ourselves to the Father.

If this pre-birth thing is for real then it happened to Christians and non-Christians alike. It is kind of like the story of the prodigal son where the rich son wanted to leave his good life to experience the world for himself. It seems we wanted to leave our good life to experience free will and we have to make that journey back to our heavenly Father.
