I heard that oil can expire by "going rancid." How do you know? What does it taste/smell like?

It's hard to describe, but it will be unmistakable. It will have a really strong, nasty smell and taste, kind of sharp and bitter, like when you have a batch of fries from a fast food place that were fried in old fat.

Bad olive oil smells like oil paint.

it doe,s not go bad it,s the stuff you cook in it that ruins it i,ve had crisco get bugs in it
