I think it only has about an hour before the chemicals change. Don't take any chances unless you really don't care what your hair looks like.

I'm a student at the Fran Brown School of Beauty and I graduate next month. Here are some tips that will help.
If your hair is not dark enough, wait a week or two and buy a new kit/whatever you used to dye your hair, then dye your hair all over again. It will make your hair darker, and since it's all brand new, your hair will less likely fall out and, it will be darker. I would reccomend you use Loreal Paris to dye your hair yourself. And after dying hair you should use John Freida or Matrix shampoo and conditioner. If looking for a lower price, go with Pantene Pro-V. Trust me I'm ALMOST a proffesional.

NO, don't do it, the color is time activated, after several hours, it's just icky; wait a few days and few washings, and try another darker color. Always make sure you keep the box top so you know what color you used last time. My hair is dark brown, with reddish natuarl highlights and I use Blondest to make it all red. The color that is used on the box does not do justice to what the color in the bottle will do to your hair. If you can afford it, have it proffesionally done, and if you have long(er) hair, consider having it proffesionally done, because you will need two to three bottles to do it anyway, and at 7-13 dollars a bottle, another 20 won't hurt to have it done by someone who is trainined to do it.
In short, wait a few days if you can, you can also by a color stripper from your local Wal-mart, but regardless, wait a day or two.

Yes, it would be alright to use the rest of the dye because if you feel comfortable making the rest of your hair darker then go ahead. I would!

Your taking a chance of damaging your hair, and the ends will break off, and split. I would wait a week before doing it again, and make sure that your hair is conditioned really well! If your hair is really something you cant live with, you might try it, but I would surely use a very good conditioner afterwards, like Aussie 3 minute miracle, I really love that conditioner and have tried others, but that works best for me! Good luck!
